In-Person

Imagine inhabiting two bodies at once,

the sheer fascination of blood

pulsing through your viens and also

your viens. Two hearts beating

thump, thump,

thump, thump,

as your other persona lives and

moves around next to you but

on a screen that cannot be tapped

into. You can do anything on this

playing field. And your friends can all

see whatever your duplicate goes

through, from anywhere in the world,

and they can interact with you also

and respond in person later,

except the in-person part keeps

becoming fewer and fewer. Imagine

how useless a real body becomes.
