All Watchmakers Should Be Under Surveillence

Tiny clinks and ticks and clocks

line each and every wall all pointing

miniature paths in two different

directions, he watches them day

and night and they whisper to each

other as he observes their innermost

workings and silences them on occasion

for their last day

The buzzing and ticking and clicking is going

on forever and embeds into the mind and

sticks to the soul.

He wishes people would listen to him

with such admiration, such adamant

attention.

He just wants to know what makes them
