Waking Up at Work Again

Closing his eyes always sends him

back to work

He's caught in a cyclic trap that

prohibits him from spending too

many consecutive minutes around

his wife and English Bulldog possibly

for the safety of them as well as

himself but he keeps wondering why

reality always kicks in at 9:05 when he

logs into his work computer and presses

play

for the soundtrack of monotony and

Melissa's voicemail box as he once again

tries to set an impossible appointment why

can't he be stuck somewhere else forever

perhaps in her arms perhaps on his PS4

somewhere anywhere but here.
