She carries white roses in one hand,
tapping her cane in the other and
her smile captures the world
They call her brave and rave of
all she does but she shrugs off
compliments, claiming humbly
that she lives life just like
all the rest
Only she dreams in
musical masterpieces
and dances with rainbows
of emerald and ruby
mixed with ocean's fresh
breeze
She claims to see the world
much more clearly than us
And I believe her.
