As a Floridian you don't learn
that there are certain ups and
downs in life but they hardly ever
stay for long, the path is never
straight, and the altitude is going
to knock you down sometimes
but that's okay, you will adjust.
The top of Mount Frosty is at the
Beginning of the Appalachian trial
it likes to steal your breath from you
and even at the top it is hard to know
if your path will be easier or harder
now that you are halfway through.
You keep on trekking though and
your boots are covered in mud and
the next step is a foot and a half up
and you have to engage your entire
entity in order to push onwards and
you have to chant Bible scriptures to
hope that God helps you carry on
one more step.
